- This is a very wide-spread problem. Workbench allocates the first 4 and
- the last 4 colors, so if you have 8 colors, they are neatly together, but
- on 256 color screen, they aren't. Get the program MagicColors from
- Aminet, this will fix your problem...

- Yeah, this problem was discussed to a certain degree on the mailing list.
- I _think_ it has something to do with the memory on the card... I had the
- same problems, but they kind of disappeard when I switched to the latest
- driver version (2.56, I think. Available for FTP on, let me see,
- ftp.phone.net, if I'm not mistaken)...

- : AmIRC however gives me every line of text twice and sometimes I

- : I recently read a little about that this could be a DMA problem.
- : Somebody said to switch it off. How is it done ?
- Might have been refereing to original Video DMA. If so, if try to boot so
- that the screen remains black (remove/redirect all output in
- startup-sequence, don't load a boot pic etc.), and video DMA shouldn't be
- on... I never had this kind of problem, though...
-
- : If anybody has any idea or suggestion It would be greatly appreciated :)
- Hope this helps...
